Dearly Beloved,

On behalf of all of our church family, I welcome you to the Staunton Memorial website, it is my pleasure to greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We've come this far by faith and God has blessed our congregation immensely. Our founding members planted those seeds of faith through which God is blessing us today. This congregation has a glorious past and God has shown me that His expectations of us are even greater today. As our theme for the year states, "Change is Coming" and in doing, so we give all praise and honor to God alone. I acknowledge His divine influence in all that we do and the active power of the Holy Spirit in every step we take. As the leader of this great congregation, I am acutely aware of the greatest leader in history, our Lord, and Savior Jesus Christ.
God has sent me to Staunton Memorial to help bring His people into their destiny. A destiny that you know is yours, a vision that God has shown you, a hope that was deposited in the womb of your spirit. My job here is like unto a midwife, I am here to tell you to keep on pushing because I see, what is coming. Change is Coming! Trust and know that God knows what He's doing. He is perfect and He is sovereign. Even when we cannot understand what God is doing, we should affirm our trust in Him because of who He is. God does all things perfectly according to His divine will. Come home, sit back and cross your legs and know that Change is Coming your way!
Sincerely,
Rev. Keith Wooten Pastor
The Pastor's Response to COVID-19

"If Not Now Then When!?"

This message is for my church family. If these months of isolation due to COVID-
19 hasn't changed you, nothing will. There is absolutely no way that we should
enter the church building in the same manner that we left it. If a change
hasn't begun in your heart, your mind, and spirit, of the awareness that the
Almighty God is drawing you, calling you to walk on higher ground. That's a good
place to repent and ask God for a do-over. Although darkness is in the land,
there is a light, and if there's a light, there is hope. If you are still
negative and your heart is full of resentment, asked Him for a do-over. If you
are still judgmental towards your brother or your sister, holding on to past
hurts and wrong feelings, asked Him for a do-over. Go back to where you met
Jesus, remember how you felt in your heart. I stand with you this morning, to
help push you into your destiny and rebuke and bring to no effect all division,
discord, disunity, strife, anger, wrath, murder, criticism, condemnation, pride,
envy, jealousy, gossip, slander, evil speaking, complaining, lying, false
teaching, false gifts, false manifestations, lying signs and wonders, poverty,
fear of lack, fear of spirits, murmuring spirits, complaining spirits, hindering
spirits, retaliatory spirits, deceiving spirits, religious spirits. We are the
people of God, the church of God, and walking in the power of the Holy Spirit.
You are more than what you think you are, walk in the newness of your new life.
