Pastor Keith Wooten has a tremendous passion for God’s word coupled with a love for God’s people. He has a contagious spirit of generosity that flows through every facet of his ministry. Having received his mandate from God, Pastor Wooten obediently fulfills his calling as Pastor of Staunton Memorial C.M.E Church.
Called to ministry in 1995, under the leadership of the late Bishop Siler, Pastor Wooten began his ministry as an evangelist, sharing the gospel in cities throughout North Carolina. He was licensed in 1999 by Prince Chapel C.M.E. The Carolina Region Conference under the late Bishop Charles L. Helton ordained Pastor Wooten in 2005. In the same Conference in 2007, Pastor Wooten was ordained Elder and appointed to Pastor Montgomery C.M.E Church in Selma, NC. There he served faithfully for 5 years. In 2012 Pastor Wooten was appointed as Pastor of Rogers Chapel in Fuquay Varina, NC serving for four years. In the 2017 conference year he was appointed to serve the wonderful members of Staunton Memorial C.M.E. in Pittsboro, NC.

Pastor Wooten is married to the former Linda Staton and they are the parents of three children:
Heather, Keith, Jr, and Brian.
Pastor Wooten serves as President of Inspiring Hope, a group organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes assisting single parents and their families. He is the Founder of War Cry Community Outreach Ministries for Youth in Fuquay Varina, NC.

In his preparation to preach and to teach the word of God, Pastor Wooten has taken several online classes, received his bachelor’s degree from Apex School of Theology, in Durham, NC and is presently seeking his Master of Divinity.
